FROM CHRISTINE’S PARENTS,
WAYNE AND CHRISTINA Many
people ask us how we could let our young daughter race at the speeds that
she does. Our answer is
simple, racing is Christine’s dream; as long as she is safe and happy we
couldn’t ask for anything more. As
parents, we could not be more fulfilled than to see our child do something
that she loves. Seeing her
get out of that racecar with a huge smile that could light up a dark room
is priceless. That’s what
makes all out hard work worthwhile. Honestly,
I can’t say that her racing doesn’t make me nervous as a mom.
If you ask her father if he is ever nervous, he will tell you that
because of her maturity, focus, level headedness, race etiquette and
responsibility she has shown, he has all the faith in the world in her.
If he didn’t she wouldn’t be in any racecar.
It’s
obvious that racing is a family oriented sport, in this day and age family
bonding is very important and sometimes a lost commodity with all the
responsibilities that parents have. Us
taking one on one time with our young adult to race is something that we
find very gratifying and an experience that none of us will never forget.
Christine has many great goals for the future along with racing.
There
are tons of people and organizations to thank.
So many people have given Christine and her love of racing so much
support, especially her sponsors. As
parents, we are extremely proud of our daughter not only as a driver but
of the young adult she is becoming along with the help of her sponsors
that have committed not only to her race team but to her personally. As
parents, we are blessed to have Christine, we are not only proud of her
racing accomplishments but also her strong commitment with her schooling,
her beliefs, and the time that she volunteers within her community.
We are grateful to you, her fans for your continued love and
support, as well as being there for her young adult years and hopefully
beyond. We hope that you will
continue to support Christine Martin Racing. Thank
you, the MARTINS.
